Except i now realise that absolutely no-one is going to read this.

In the approximately 2 years since i last posted on tumblr, we (me and all my 4 friends) have stopped thinking we’re cool, and realised that literally no one in the world gives a shit about what we post on tumblr, and as such, im going to use it again.  Yes, its pointless,  yes it’s cathartic, yes I’m using tumblr as some kind of therapy and yes, I just google’d cathartic to check i was using it in the right context.

So, since i last posted, I’ve fallen in love, mentally planned a marriage, been an enormous bell-end (debate is still open as to whether or not that should be in the past tense or not) , traveled the world, and lost said love. Wow. Quite a couple of years.

I’m not sure what to make of the whole losing the love business. It is probably part of the natural progession of life, in that it was bound to happen; I was batting way above my league, and I treated her like an annoying tramp; constantly disregarding her, and being a general cock. But lets face it, hindsight is always 20:20.

Moving forward, I think I’ve learned several things.

1) I peaked at 17 THERE ARE PLENTY MORE FISH IN THE SEA

2) No matter how cool I think I am I will always respect future paramores

3) It takes a while. No matter how emotionally detached you think you are from the world, nothing happens over night. Its been 3 months, and I’m still getting there.

It’s strange, adjusting to someone who had been such a huge part of your life, just leaving. 3 months on from it though, i think I’m finally getting there. It’s like a reset button has been pushed on my life, and everything is slightly different from how it was. No-one really gives a shit/pretends to give a shit if I text them telling them I’ve finished work. No morning texts. I’m getting there though. Slowly but surely. Mainly thanks to farrah. Cheers love
